Self-employed? Do You Think Like an Entrepreneur?

Think like a marketerOne of the most important things for a self-employed person these days is to be able to think like an entrepreneur.

Avoid Distractions When Working From Home

One of the most important things to remember when working from home is to avoid distractions. There are so many things around us that can be distracting so to get the necessary focus on the tasks you set yourself, it’s vital you avoid these distractions.

Avoid DistractionsSometimes you can have music in the background, which is fine as long as this doesn’t take your focus away from what is important. The worst kind of distraction is Television, especially if it’s in the same room as where you are working. The temptation to have the TV on and change channels is too much of a distraction to be healthy for your work focus. Continue reading

My Recent WAM (Wait A Minute) Moment

Enjoy – I had fun making this video, which is what we are all about.

Having attended the first ever UK MLM Internet Summit in April this year (2012) and having been able to share the wisdom of Diane Hochman and Daegan Smith, I had what I call my “WAM” moment. It was a big shift in my belief and mindset towards my business and me as a person. I realised I’d somehow lost my way and forgot who I (that’s ME) really am and what I’m good at.

Because of Diane’s training I was “woken up” to this because she said “you must find what you’re good at and brand yourself around that”. How true.

I hope you enjoy the video. I never thought it was so valuable going to live events, but now I’m hooked. I will be off to the next summit in Edinburgh in September, will you? Continue reading
