    Hi Barrie,

Wonderful post! I liked the way you pointed out desperation and how it can only lead to a dead end.

On the other hand, Inspiration is the key to success no matter what you are doing online. When we are inspired, we don’t think about money, but rather how to benefit others. This becomes Attraction Marketing and it works so well.

What marketers need first is their list. If one is inspired to do attraction marketing people will get to know like and trust you and before you know it they are on your list. From there, we can find the many ways of communicating to them and pitch 20% of the time.

Great advice Barrie and I know what is like also to be desperate !! I have lost count of how many different opportunities I have been in over the last few years but glad in the end I found mentors to teach me the correct way to market. Thanks for sharing.

    Barrie,

Wonderful post and very timely for me. Although you are talking about the way desperation interferes with and blocks you from getting the success you desire in business, what you are saying is totally appropriate for love and relationships as well. I was invited as an expert speaker on an upcoming summit called From Dating to Commitment. This Wednesday I will be doing my live video interview and your post has inspired me to use those exact words – desperation vs. inspiration. So many people, often women and sometimes men, are so anxious to be in a relationship that they become clingy and needy and desperate. That is not very appealing, especially after awhile and it does not lead the other person to want to make an ongoing commitment. But if someone is passionate and inspiring and enjoying life and wanting to get to know another person, they are much more likely to inspire the other person to want to be with them for the long haul.

Bottom line is that desperation leads to more desperation and inspiration leads to more inspiration.
Your blog post has inspired me. Thank you.

    Warmly,

    Erica

Hi Barrie, I totally agree. First, if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing you want be doing it long… Inspiration and passion tend to keep us going, and then serving others and showing them how to find their path is also a great way to build relationships and then learn from each other, and then use that knowledge for inspiration in your chosen path. Great post.

    Wow Barrie

That was truly inspirational! It is interesting to think and ask yourself How can I turn my feeling of desperation into something inspirational?

For me I have to think about coaching myself, which means I have to get to being the observer and not the participant and then it never looks so bad.

I also try to keep things in perspective. The refugees fleeing places like Syria and Afghanistan now that is s desperation. I have so much to be grateful for and so much to offer to others

thanks for the help you offered today. A wonderful read!
