expanding your businessAre you up for the challenge of expanding your business? Whatever type of business you have, online or traditional retail there is a challenge to be met that you need to be able to deal with. If you work from home the possibilities of expanding your business are endless and yet the overheads are still kept small. In a traditional business, the prospects are far more challenging and I hope to distinguish between the both here.

Expanding Your Business – Traditional

When expanding your business in the traditional “bricks and mortar” style of organization, this usually entails taking on more staff, getting a larger premises or maybe an extra premises. One thing is for sure, you will have a lot more on your plate to deal with. Your time will be spent organizing your business around employees more and you will have to have people you know you can trust to be able to run things for you.

It’s highly likely that you will have to work longer to get the expansion to see the income you want to achieve. That will of course be after the extra overheads have been taken out of the gross income. You will only know the value of your expansion after everything has been taken into consideration and whether your time and money has been spent wisely.

You have to take everything from the extra wages, the extra workload and / or sales you need to cover, the extra expense and the rent etc. from larger or additional premises before you see the true result. The extra work you will be required to do yourself should also be taken into consideration when going through all these things and also what your outcome is going to be.

When you have done your research, which is always necessary, you will be able to answer many of your own questions before you go ahead with expanding your business.

Expanding Your Business – Online / Home Business

Depending on the type of online business you are running, you may need to think along the lines of a traditional business that gets sales from the internet. If so, then the comparisons are not that noticeable. If however, you work from home in an affiliate based business or network marketing, then the comparisons are a lot different.

When you work in an affiliate system or network marketing business where you leverage other people’s time and effort to make extra income, you are in a position to expand your business without taking on extra staff or premises.

Training your team to duplicate the methods and leveraging their work to sell product and get sign ups into the business will give you extra income due to the compensation plans and the relevant commissions you get from the system you are working in. Using an online marketing system that includes training and affiliate product, you will be able to fund your network marketing business and give yourself the chance of multiple streams of income.

Expanding your business when you work from home is far less risky and you won’t see the same overhead or staffing levels that you require in a traditional business. When considering the type of business you want to run, you should also consider the pitfalls and trials you may be faced with when you want to expand in the future. When you work from home using the leveraged methods relevant to affiliate programs and network marketing, the risks are much less and rewards are much greater.

You can still help people gain employment when expanding your business working from home, but it will be more than just employment when you can educate them to duplicate and build in the right way. It won’t just be employment; it will be an income for life!

To the future
