Great tips for finding your focus. I like the last one on creating a mini action plan. I tend to create huge plans and then get so overwhelmed nothing much gets done. I’m going to try it your way this time. 🙂

I used to do the same as you Ruth until one day a friend of mine rightly said that any big task is a series of small ones, Creating the mini action plans got me to the final destination without the overwhelm.

Make a list of all the things you care about and all the things you really want to do and prioritise them with a “1-2-3” approach. Rank your list in order of importance.

Great questions, Barry and so good for getting the creative juices flowing. I had lost my ‘mojo’ for a while but have found it again (thank goodness!). Wish I’d had your list of questions qhile I was floundering around!

    Enjoy the journey!

    Hi Barry,

Focus Very Important Great 6 points.
I liked the mini-plan, making things as simple as possible helps with feelings of overwhelm.
Focus on what you really like to do and take action.

    Great article!

Every person is unique David. AS long as you find a way to deal with your things in your own particular way, that’s fine.

Hi Barry. This is a great set of questions. self-evaluation is something everyone should do periodically, and you have provided a way to do that in this post. Thanks!

great advice Barrie. I especially like your points about taking some time to think about the “to do” list before jumping in and tackling just on or two issues at a time. Once we decide on a course of action it’s easy to get carried away trying to do too much too soon. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have really benefited from the 6th way. Lots of different ways and you can only fit in a single way. DON’T be discouraged when there is no benefit with one or two times. Try it all to find the right way for you.

i think if you have one big reason for doing something so that would be enough to bring motivation , focus , concentration on you work , and if we love the work we are doing without caring about its result so no one stop us to achieve the success .
