reading positive statements, positive stories, encouraging texts is always a great idea. i have always been greatly inspired by such writings but i know others who simply don’t ‘get’ them, which is a great shame.

    enjoy the journey!

Yes, I believe God is a God of abundance. But abundance is not always defined by money, contrary to common views. Don’t get me wrong, I for one would love to be wealthy, as I could do things and help others in ways I cannot do presently. But presently, I am not and may never be wealthy…so I seek to find other ways to touch people. I an introvert, but still can speak put at the right (wrong too) moment.
I see much suffering and pain, spiritual, emotional and psychological. It is every where and I think of St. Augustin before his conversion, wallowing in list full behaviors and parties. He himself, an intellect of his day, recognized the God sized hole in his heart. We too have that, in oh so many ways. You can fill it with money, sex, drugs, sports, cars, alcohol…..u can fill it with anything….it will not fill that hole….never…ever.

I agree with you Paula. I believe that wealth and abundance also comes from more than just money. You can have an abundance of love and a wealth of so much more than money. I too would love to be wealthy one day, but I’m already wealthy because of what I have.
