One thing that always stays with me, even in the hardest of times is never give up! There is only one absolutely CERTAIN way to fail, which is giving up on your dreams and ambitions because you have limiting beliefs. You must remember that YOU are responsible for your actions and your goals. A dream is only a dream if you don’t take action to achieve it. Limit yourself or listen to others limit you and you will never know what is possible.
I could say that quitting is the “easy way out”. Perhaps it is and you will no doubt have your own opinion on this. I can speak from experience about giving up, even though I have since started doing what I gave up many years ago.
This is not Continue reading
Successful sales and effective marketing needs persistence, continuous improvement and an expectation there will be a positive outcome. If you don’t believe in your success and approach every aspect of marketing with enthusiasm, creativity and a positive attitude, it would be like taking part in a yacht race with no wind to help you along. This means you have no momentum or direction, leaving your competition free to overtake you.
Attitude has a deceptive way of infiltrating everything we do. It can take us to great heights or drag us down to the depths of failure. It can energize us to do everything at the right time, or it can affect our motivation and cause us to sabotage all of the great plans we have made.
The truth is that we either own Continue reading
Be careful what you believe, because it’s odds on that’s what you will experience. Your inner belief system is a mechanism that is yours and yours alone. It’s powered by your innermost principles, your desire and controlled by your thoughts and actions. In fact, you could say that your success is measured by the strength of your belief.
What do you desire? Many people don’t have a clue what they want. They seem to know what they don’t want, so logically it shouldn’t be too hard to work out. It’s time to evaluate your goals and determine the goals you truly Continue reading
It’s far too easy to get “bogged down” with things and distracted when you have your own business. There is also the tendency, especially with online business things, to assume that something “doesn’t work”. Instead of just getting on with the job and finding out by taking action, the assumption is enough to stop the person from doing what is necessary.
It’s what you do when nobody is looking that matters. You Continue reading
I was browsing through one site looking for ideas for a blog post. I came across a student who was reaching the end of his studies and who had just one year left making it clear that “he was scared of the future”. WHY?
Because of the reaction he was getting to his work! Outside influences were the issues that were making him think he wasn’t good enough. What could he do to make this change?
I believe there are Continue reading
Practice is something we all need to get to grips with in our everyday business and life. Learning the skills we use is one thing, but practice is how we perfect them. Many will “shy away” from practice because it may remind you of tasks that were seen as chores when a child. This would be more relevant for someone who learned music as an example, but the practice was something “to be avoided” because it’s “boring”. After all, we just want to play that tune, so why do I need to do scales?
Too many times, we as humans look to get to the gratifying point of what we’re doing, but forget that Continue reading
I will be talking about learning about your niche and then going out and crushing it!
“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.” ~ Einstein
This statement can be based on so many things in life, ranging from sport to business. The best teams mostly win the most prizes, but this doesn’t mean that the team is full of the very best players. There is more to a team than just being the best individual. This, of course, doesn’t mean that the best teams cannot contain the best player of all. That could be YOU in your chosen field as long as Continue reading
Part 8 of the series based on the 10 main principles of Albert Einstein. In this post I will discuss repetition and why it can be both good and bad. Good is great, but bad is something to beware of and so easy a trap to fall into.
Einstein had a philosophy around this and thought it as:
“Insanity – doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Of course, this is based around the “bad” side of repetition and this should be avoided. Of course, it’s a very easy trap to get caught in and can lead to frustration and Continue reading
Bold statement, but something I believe in.
Welcome to part two of ten lessons the great Albert Einstein lived his life by. On this subject of perseverance he said: “It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
When this was discussed and shared in the mentoring group I am a member of, the statement made was that “perseverance is priceless”, which it absolutely is. When you are looking to make improvements in your life and business, you need to persevere towards your goals, but if you can add persistence in taking the right actions Continue reading
