When you are working in your own business something we all need is time. When starting out we have so much to do and yet it seems very little time to do things. Question is are you prepared to sacrifice things to make time to do what you need to do so that you can have more time to enjoy your success later on? Sacrificing some leisure time NOW and using that time to work on your business will be the key to having a great future and more time to enjoy the fruits of your labour in the time to come.
As you go through your home business journey, one of the most important things for you to take into consideration is your own dedication to self growth. In order to determine where you are and how you can improve your situation, you need to take some self reflection and see exactly where you are in the overall scheme of things.
Over the last few articles I’ve discussed your philosophy of life, attitude and ambition, activity, results and lifestyle. Now I would like to discuss some conclusions so you get the best value from what I’ve spoken about. One thing to remember is that each of the things I’ve written about are easy to do and yet just as easy NOT to do and you need to be disciplined to get the best from your daily tasks to progress in your business and get to the outcome you want in life.
When you take massive action, you’re more likely to achieve more results. The important thing with anything here is that you actually TAKE ACTION and not merely dream about it and sit and wait for things to happen. Having discussed the philosophy of life and ambition (attitude) then the way to achieve your ambition is to take action and make progress to better results and a better business and life.
Having discussed philosophy of life and how it drives ambition and attitude, it’s time to see how your ambition in life will drive your activity. Attitude affects our ambition, motivation and the actions we take to achieve the things we want to achieve. A negative thought process leads to little or no real ambition, or at best a negative outcome to our effort. If, however you have a positive ambition driven by a positive thought process, then it’s more likely you will take positive and massive action to achieve.
Having just completed a 90 day challenge, I believe that I’m qualified to talk about how taking on a challenge in your business helps you to develop good habits and consistency. When you have an online business and a blog it’s very important to keep regular content rolling onto the site and sharing that content to build your brand and reputation.
When you do the things in your life that are comfortable, eventually you will end up being uncomfortable. Why? Because the uncomfortable things will “catch up” with you and it will be harder later in life to deal with them. Doing the things that are uncomfortable to you FIRST will help you to make them comfortable and you can achieve success in whatever you do. Do the small things on a daily basis to overcome these things that “bother” you and you will be able to have a great life.
There is a lot to be said for your philosophy and how it affects your very being. When you think about it, the in depth thinking behind a “philosophy” can lead to a lot of confusion, but when you put it into simple terms, then the sense of having a philosophy that drives your thinking to be positive and direct in your business and life is a big benefit to you.
My thanks to Mark Harbert for these tips. I found them inspiring and something that resonated with me a lot. Question is have you made a decision? I know that it took me a while to make a decision to draw a line in the sand EVERY day and there would be NOTHING that would get in my way. The three tips based on decisions were something that actually happened to me. I like to “tell it as it is” and rather than base things all on psychology, I base things on my experience and offer tips according to those experiences.
No matter how much action you’re taking in your business, or your good intention in taking that action, it won’t bring the results you want without a positive thought process. You need good intention that has a defined and positive end in mind and any doubt or lack of belief in any way will diminish the chances of getting the results you’re looking for.
