Because of the nature of information overload these days, it’s very easy to have the feeling “I am overwhelmed”! When you are doing research for your business and maybe going online to see what you can do so that you can choose the right thing for you, there is so much to think of it’s quite understandable that you will think this way. It doesn’t matter what business you choose to do, the important thing for you is that you trust the business you are working in and believe you can do it! If you have faith and passion in your choice of business then as long as you have that belief that you can do it and be successful you are going to see results.
When working in a home based business there are initially two things that are serious enough to really hold you back:
- Fear – where you are afraid about getting out there and making things happen. However trivial this may seem it’s real to the person who is experiencing this. And….
- Belief – Where you may doubt what you do based mostly (in my experience) on other people’s reaction to what you’re doing and the way this “doubt” eats away at you.
These things are either self inflicted in some ways or from the “opinions” of others who tell you to be careful or to forget it all together because “so and so” tried it and failed. Continue reading
If you’re new to online marketing and have just decided to try to get more leads and customers / signups for your business you need to work out which of several marketing strategies is the best for you. Because of all the types there are, this can lead to overwhelm and many of us get stuck and then the business falters.
Some of us will go back to what we have already been taught and, because there is little to no success, will give up on their dreams and go back to the life they are used to. This is possibly the case with up to 90% of people who take up the mantle to expand out into the online world. Continue reading
What DO you hate about…. your job or your life or? Be honest, no matter what you are doing, there will be something you don’t like about what you do in life or as a job. Hate may be a bit severe a term, but there is certainly something you don’t like to do.
Why am I asking you this question? There is a very good reason for this. I have noticed that many people, when confronted with something that they don’t like to do, simply don’t do it. Take my case – Continue reading
The first thing we must do is to provide the proper information to our prospect so that they can make the proper choice, but ultimately we should encourage confidence and belief in the prospect that they can do the job.
In my “9 to 5” I am lucky to meet lots of people and currently see over 350 customers each week as well as adding others. The nature of the job I do means that I see the same people each week. Because of the skills I have learned over the past few months since I changed my strategy Continue reading

We attract whatever we choose to give our attention to–whether wanted or unwanted.
There are those that think we attract by ‘default’ rather than by deliberate choice. We are governed by whether we think positively or negatively. For instance, thinking about solutions to potential problems is a positive way to deal with things. This way, the problem ceases to be a problem because you already have dealt with it. If you say to yourself that you have this or that problem to deal with, the “problem” becomes more difficult because you haven’t already thought of the solution. Continue reading
I have recently been on a call with a top UK Network Marketer who had some real gems of knowledge and tips to share. He talked about things like building a proper business culture and the roles of managers, who generally appear to be “self serving souls” and leaders in the business. There is a fundamental difference between managers and leaders, because managers generally instruct and have big expectations to achieve goals, whereas a leader takes his team and works with them to achieve the goals set out. Basically, the leader takes the team “by the hand” and leads them to the achievement demanded by the manager. Continue reading
So, what is the definition of Call To Action? Basically it’s what you use to get the decision from your website visitor to find out more about what you are offering. The whole reason for your marketing should be based around getting the visitor to buy from you or going to find out more about your opportunity. It’s important that you provide valuable information in your content, but the ultimate aim is to entice the click on the relevant button or link you have on your page. This could be something like “Add to Shopping Cart”, “Buy Now” or “Subscribe to Newsletter”. Continue reading
One of the common mistakes that new online marketers make is to first create the site and then think of ways to get guaranteed website traffic to it. This is not the best way to start out. The first thing to do is to develop or think of the product you are promoting, know the market and then do the necessary analysis of the competition, then develop your website around good visitor numbers, good keywords targeted to your product, but most importantly WITHOUT too much competition. Continue reading
