Are you someone who feels trapped and stuck in a rut? Having read a lot of Robert Koyisaki’s Rich Dad series of books recently I understand how this can be. I can also understand how the system from government down is helping to cause these feelings. Robert Kiyosaki is of the firm belief that the education system is flawed and we are all subject to being programmed to be like a “slave” in many ways. I agree….
There are so many of us who have struggled at some time in our lives, some who are still struggling. Even though things may be difficult, we can make lifestyle choices that will set our mind into a better position and help us progress in life and business.
This may be something you have seen or heard before, but it’s always useful to keep it in mind:
Ask as if and go as though…………….
(Ask as if you expect to have what you want and go as though you already have it!)
This sets your mind towards more abundance and more positive thoughts, ensuring you are in a better place to work and make progress.
As I pointed out in part 1, there are basically 2 ways to look at commitment and consistency in business:
- Customer / Prospect commitment and consistency to buy or join you and…
- Personal commitment and consistency in your own business.
Part 1 dealt with the customer / prospect angle. Now it’s time to look at the personal angle to see how this psychology can help you to progress.
It doesn’t matter what business you choose to do, the important thing for you is that you trust the business you are working in and believe you can do it! If you have faith and passion in your choice of business then as long as you have that belief that you can do it and be successful you are going to see results.
When working in a home based business there are initially two things that are serious enough to really hold you back:
- Fear – where you are afraid about getting out there and making things happen. However trivial this may seem it’s real to the person who is experiencing this. And….
- Belief – Where you may doubt what you do based mostly (in my experience) on other people’s reaction to what you’re doing and the way this “doubt” eats away at you.
These things are either self inflicted in some ways or from the “opinions” of others who tell you to be careful or to forget it all together because “so and so” tried it and failed.
The importance of great content is key to get to where you want to be, especially if your efforts include online methods.
What is required to create a purpose driven life and business?
Always Start With The END In Mind!!
Whatever you want to achieve, this is more possible with the right FOCUS. When your focus is LASER targeted to the outcome you want, then your purpose is greater.
If you’re in a position that you believe you’re struggling to get leads and grow your home business, the best advice I can give you is Don’t Panic! The tendency to do just that is overwhelming and then all you do is to promote without thinking and then you can be in trouble. Why? Because people will see you coming and run the other way.
What we all so in the situation of panic is to keep pitching our business and our friends get fed up of it and then they distance themselves from you. Sound Familiar? I have experienced this too and so I had to look for another way.
We are all told to work our “warm market” and then expand it out to include referrals and from those people so we can get more sign ups and grow our business. The problem these days is that there are so many ways to promote, we forget about the people who are subject to the constant bombarding of business offer and make money schemes available that are “rammed down our throats” to coin a phrase.
What DO you hate about…. your job or your life or? Be honest, no matter what you are doing, there will be something you don’t like about what you do in life or as a job. Hate may be a bit severe a term, but there is certainly something you don’t like to do.
Why am I asking you this question? There is a very good reason for this. I have noticed that many people, when confronted with something that they don’t like to do, simply don’t do it. Take my case –
If you are looking to start a home business or any other business in fact, it’s important to see the trends. It’s more relevant than ever these days that those business people who give more, get more. The more you can contribute to your team or clientele the more you will see success and growth in your business.
“We must give more in order to get more. It is the generous giving of ourselves that produces the generous harvest.” – Orison Swett Marden
