communication and coonectionI don’t know about you, but I believe completely in “the communication connection”. What do I mean by this? I’ll tell you…….

I doesn’t matter what business you are in, if you are required to recruit people or build a healthy client list, you need both communication and connection. Not necessarily in that order, but each of these are vital to be able to develop a successful business, especially where you need to network.

Have you ever noticed how the leaders in your particular organization have a particular “aura” around them? Some of these people have this naturally and some work hard at it, but the confidence they have not only helps them to communicate with ease, they very often connect with people before they even talk to them because of this. Experience over time and their energy, controlled and targeted to their goals have helped them to achieve this.

Communication Versus Connection

In these days of social media, email and many other forms of electronic communication, it’s very easy to communicate and yet still feel isolated and alone.

As home business owners, we need to make a connection to be able to attract people to us so they feel comfortable working with us in order to create the success we are all looking for.

So How Do We Use The Communication Connection Effectively?

Simple really, we should keep in consistent contact with our prospects and build rapport and trust. Connect with them through providing value and showing that we are available to help them at any time. Don’t pitch to them constantly. Do be understanding and have a conversation in you correspondence with them to build that trust.

This doesn’t mean that you don’t provide offers that will make you money. It generally means that what you offer them will be valuable to them should they want to buy. Good consistent communication will lead to a connection if you adopt this kind of technique. Nobody likes to be bombarded with offer after offer just because they have given permission for you to contact them. Be more subtle and respect your prospect and you will build a great following of people who will thank you for what you Do offer them.
