With all the distractions around these days, it’s too easy to lose focus on what you have to do or complete your tasks on time. There are times when life seems to “get in the way”. Then the negative factors kick in. There’s not enough time. I am working too hard with no end in sight. I Can’t DO IT!!!
I can relate to this a lot recently. I do quite a lot of things anyway, but recently there have been weddings for 2 of my sons and my mother fell and broke her hip. This led to me going to the hospital nearly every day as well as helping to care for my elderly father. Don’t get me wrong, these things I NEED to do, but when you’re focused on getting business stuff done, these distractions are a real Continue reading
Whatever your business, or whatever your dream, you really have to have a plan of action. The first thing is you need to know where you’re going and so the end goal is your focus and how you get there is your task. To begin with the end in mind is the order of the day.
Keeping the end in mind before you actually start is the way to develop your plan. Every race has its start and end point. The same applies to a goal in your life or business. You may have a very big dream that leads to a very big goal. You may not be able to see Continue reading
“Desperation is the feeling that you have when you are in such a bad situation that you will try anything to change it.” ~ Collins English Dictionary
This is just one way to look at desperation and define it in the clearest way possible for all of us to understand and relate to it. Why is there so much “desperation” in the world and how can we turn away from it and look towards INSPIRATION instead?
Being desperate in your life and business is in itself a negative reaction to what is around you. Of course we are ALL looking to progress, make money and have a better life for our family and ourselves too. We all WANT that Continue reading

You may hear about having to have an effective sales funnel when you go into setting up your business on the internet. Thing is, most people who struggle with the “techie” stuff or are learning about creating great copy will be crying for help. Are you one of the people who are shouting out HELP when you are confronted with the task of making your own sales funnel? Don’t panic, I could well have what you’re looking for. Continue reading
To say that impatience will kill you may be a little extreme, but it can certainly damage your dreams. After all, life is so fast these days and so many people want things straight away. This is obviously not about everyone, but how many people do you know who want things to happen quickly? It’s all about NOW with a lot of people. I know that I’ve been guilty of impatience and this has damaged my progress. Continue reading
My thanks to Mark Harbert for these tips. I found them inspiring and something that resonated with me a lot. Question is have you made a decision? I know that it took me a while to make a decision to draw a line in the sand EVERY day and there would be NOTHING that would get in my way. The three tips based on decisions were something that actually happened to me. I like to “tell it as it is” and rather than base things all on psychology, I base things on my experience and offer tips according to those experiences. Continue reading
If you’re in a position that you believe you’re struggling to get leads and grow your home business, the best advice I can give you is Don’t Panic! The tendency to do just that is overwhelming and then all you do is to promote without thinking and then you can be in trouble. Why? Because people will see you coming and run the other way.
What we all so in the situation of panic is to keep pitching our business and our friends get fed up of it and then they distance themselves from you. Sound Familiar? I have experienced this too and so I had to look for another way.
We are all told to work our “warm market” and then expand it out to include referrals and from those people so we can get more sign ups and grow our business. The problem these days is that there are so many ways to promote, we forget about the people who are subject to the constant bombarding of business offer and make money schemes available that are “rammed down our throats” to coin a phrase. Continue reading
