One thing that always stays with me, even in the hardest of times is never give up! There is only one absolutely CERTAIN way to fail, which is giving up on your dreams and ambitions because you have limiting beliefs. You must remember that YOU are responsible for your actions and your goals. A dream is only a dream if you don’t take action to achieve it. Limit yourself or listen to others limit you and you will never know what is possible.
I could say that quitting is the “easy way out”. Perhaps it is and you will no doubt have your own opinion on this. I can speak from experience about giving up, even though I have since started doing what I gave up many years ago.
This is not Continue reading
It’s actually quite obvious that without focus, it doesn’t really matter what your passion, there is no substance to carry that passion forward. Focus drives passion in such a way that it helps you to define goals. Goals need laser focus and passion needs to create the goal, so each is intertwined to be sure. Knowing what your passions are should therefore help to create the focus you need to reach your goals and be happy in your life. And that happiness is because you’re doing what you are so passionate about.
Certainly lots to think about.
So… Continue reading
Success is a journey and finding your own road to success is important. Although we can follow other great leaders in the way they achieved, success could so easily be aligned with the “genie trapped in a bottle” scenario. To follow that thought, success could simply be finding a way to open that bottle, and then following a specific path. Of course, this path is filled with pitfalls and traps all along its route, so it’s a good idea to learn all you can and expand your vision as you move along.
For many people, achieving Continue reading
It doesn’t matter what your business or job, if you don’t commit to doing something you love, you’re in danger of getting into the “half hearted” zone. This is more dangerous when you have your own business, but could also mean losing a job.
The first thing you need to look at is your own desire to do the job at hand. If there is something in the business that you see as lucrative and that is the ONLY reason you want to do it, there is the possibility (or worse) that you can enter into it half heartedly. So, ask yourself if it is something that Continue reading
I was browsing through one site looking for ideas for a blog post. I came across a student who was reaching the end of his studies and who had just one year left making it clear that “he was scared of the future”. WHY?
Because of the reaction he was getting to his work! Outside influences were the issues that were making him think he wasn’t good enough. What could he do to make this change?
I believe there are Continue reading
This is part one of a ten part series based on lessons that the great Albert Einstein lived his life by. This subject was discussed in a mentoring group I participate in and thought it good to share. I hope to show how you can take advantage of these lessons to help demonstrate the genius that you have inside you too.
Einstein didn’t consider himself a genius. He did, however, consider himself curious saying “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious”.
Do you follow your curiosity like Einstein did, or Continue reading
“Desperation is the feeling that you have when you are in such a bad situation that you will try anything to change it.” ~ Collins English Dictionary
This is just one way to look at desperation and define it in the clearest way possible for all of us to understand and relate to it. Why is there so much “desperation” in the world and how can we turn away from it and look towards INSPIRATION instead?
Being desperate in your life and business is in itself a negative reaction to what is around you. Of course we are ALL looking to progress, make money and have a better life for our family and ourselves too. We all WANT that Continue reading
You’re young and you have a dream, but something puts a stop to that dream or fills you with so much doubt that you leave it alone.
It may be that you’re heading towards middle age and you have been doing something you love to do and yet are disillusioned and you give up what you’re doing even though you are really good at it. You know you should persist at it, but you are tired and have had enough!
The latter is what happened to me. In fact, to a certain extent, BOTH situations are true.
When I was a teenager, my dream was to play music for a living. I wanted to be a pianist Continue reading

There are countless times where a person has confidence around their peers and can easily do a presentation with the leader present. What does this prove? It basically means that the person has no belief to step up to the plate when they have proved time and time again that they have the skill and the absolute ability to do what’s necessary. I don’t understand the lack of belief when the proof that the person CAN do the task and yet they won’t take the vital step and beat the fear and lack of belief. Continue reading
