I believe to be a great leader you need 4 fundamental characteristics of leadership that will put you into a great position as a leader. There are many things to consider when you develop your business and leadership skills, but these 4 things are among the most important in order to lay the foundation to your leadership.
What you give is what you get, give and you will receive or any other analogy of the same thing is completely relevant to where we are today. I don’t know if you’re religious or not, but with it being in the Pentecost Season in UK, it’s all about gifts and giving. The gift that God gave on this day according to all Christian belief is of the Holy Spirit. This made me think about how much online business is based around gifts and giving. It doesn’t matter what your religion, the principle of what I’m going to discuss is the same. That’s to give FREELY.
As you progress through your marketing and you grow your list, it’s inevitable that you will get some people who will send you emails that will criticize and also be downright hurtful! Are you tough enough to take this kind of mail? It will be quite a daunting prospect to many of us, but you should also be advised that these things happen and you do need to accept it.
Simple answer to this – when you work from home it’s your job to persuade people to give you their email so you can correspond with them in order to build the relationship and create sales and / or signups for your opportunity. Reciprocation is the person parting with their information and giving their permission for you to contact them.
I don’t know about you, but I have experienced people coming to me and asking me to endorse them and their skills even when I don’t know them. At least do some research and connect with the person to confirm that what you’re saying is the truth before you endorse them. I don’t feel comfortable if someone endorses me with out knowing me and what I can do for people. Don’t fake things, instead be real, be honest, be authentic and be YOU!
This particular subject covers two different areas, That is both questions you ask yourself and questions you ask your prospects. When you ask better questions of yourself and your prospect, you’re in a better position to get your own mindset in better shape and also be able to determine what the needs of your prospects are so you can help them with their problems.
When we decide to start a home business, most of us are eager to get moving and achieve the success we know we’re capable of. Some of us go full steam ahead and immediately start seeing results, while others seem to keep running into snags and barriers to overcome no matter how hard we try to get ahead. It’s important to consider that we may have subconscious issues that are preventing us from moving forward, solving these problems and achieving the success we desire. You may well feel you’re struggling to make a success of your home business and maybe feel there is something holding you back.
If you’re in a position that you believe you’re struggling to get leads and grow your home business, the best advice I can give you is Don’t Panic! The tendency to do just that is overwhelming and then all you do is to promote without thinking and then you can be in trouble. Why? Because people will see you coming and run the other way.
What we all so in the situation of panic is to keep pitching our business and our friends get fed up of it and then they distance themselves from you. Sound Familiar? I have experienced this too and so I had to look for another way.
We are all told to work our “warm market” and then expand it out to include referrals and from those people so we can get more sign ups and grow our business. The problem these days is that there are so many ways to promote, we forget about the people who are subject to the constant bombarding of business offer and make money schemes available that are “rammed down our throats” to coin a phrase.
There has been a growing trend these days to use the Internet to build your MLM business and more and more companies are jumping onto the Internet Network Marketing bandwagon. I can remember when all we were taught was the old traditional methods of approaching friends and family and building your contact list by means of finding people you may know through the type of work they do and offering them a new way to earn money.
Being in business, whether in traditional business or home business and MLM, the lifeblood of every business is customers. In direct marketing, customers come from generating leads. Much like multiple streams of income, where you can have several sources of income, you should, when marketing for leads, look for multiple sources to get leads from.
