It doesn’t matter what business you choose to do, the important thing for you is that you trust the business you are working in and believe you can do it! If you have faith and passion in your choice of business then as long as you have that belief that you can do it and be successful you are going to see results.
When working in a home based business there are initially two things that are serious enough to really hold you back:
- Fear – where you are afraid about getting out there and making things happen. However trivial this may seem it’s real to the person who is experiencing this. And….
- Belief – Where you may doubt what you do based mostly (in my experience) on other people’s reaction to what you’re doing and the way this “doubt” eats away at you.

The tendency to do just that is overwhelming and then all you do is to promote without thinking and then you can be in trouble. Why? Because people will see you coming and run the other way.

We are all told to work our “warm market” and then expand it out to include referrals and from those people so we can get more sign ups and grow our business. I have heard some people say to be successful you need to have perseverance to achieve your goals. This is true, but you need to be careful to do things the right way. Persevering with anything is good, unless it DOESN’T work; then it’s pointless. Set out your goals and find set out the techniques you are going to employ to achieve them. Be flexible and test out the methods you employ to enable you to reach those goals. Be persistent for a month, sure, but if there isn’t any progress, reassess and go again. You will find the way that works for you and then you can be consistent and persistent to grow your business and reach your goals more easily. Continue reading
One of the common mistakes that new online marketers make is to first create the site and then think of ways to get guaranteed website traffic to it. This is not the best way to start out. The first thing to do is to develop or think of the product you are promoting, know the market and then do the necessary analysis of the competition, then develop your website around good visitor numbers, good keywords targeted to your product, but most importantly WITHOUT too much competition.
