“Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value”.
It’s said these days that one is paid by the value one gives out to the marketplace. The more value you offer to people and the more you can show that you have the solution to problems, the more likely you are to be rewarded.
As online marketers we see and give so much away for free that sometimes the perception is that there is no value to what is being offered. After all, FREE means nothing is being PAID, so how is there any VALUE in it?
A dilemma I’m sure, but one thing is certain Continue reading
Bold statement, but something I believe in.
Welcome to part two of ten lessons the great Albert Einstein lived his life by. On this subject of perseverance he said: “It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
When this was discussed and shared in the mentoring group I am a member of, the statement made was that “perseverance is priceless”, which it absolutely is. When you are looking to make improvements in your life and business, you need to persevere towards your goals, but if you can add persistence in taking the right actions Continue reading
This is part one of a ten part series based on lessons that the great Albert Einstein lived his life by. This subject was discussed in a mentoring group I participate in and thought it good to share. I hope to show how you can take advantage of these lessons to help demonstrate the genius that you have inside you too.
Einstein didn’t consider himself a genius. He did, however, consider himself curious saying “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious”.
Do you follow your curiosity like Einstein did, or Continue reading
Success is simply achieved by doing the things that are easy to do, but they are also easy NOT to do. Failure is the result of the ease of not doing just ONE simple task that is important in the whole scheme of things.
How do I know this? Well, I have experienced it myself and have learned the lessons Continue reading
“Desperation is the feeling that you have when you are in such a bad situation that you will try anything to change it.” ~ Collins English Dictionary
This is just one way to look at desperation and define it in the clearest way possible for all of us to understand and relate to it. Why is there so much “desperation” in the world and how can we turn away from it and look towards INSPIRATION instead?
Being desperate in your life and business is in itself a negative reaction to what is around you. Of course we are ALL looking to progress, make money and have a better life for our family and ourselves too. We all WANT that Continue reading
It’s just a couple of days since the passing of Dr Wayne Dyer and my thoughts have been around change in myself and readdressing my goals and making those changes. Personal development and growth is always something that “comes from within”. Work on yourself from the inside out because that is where the fundamental changes need to take place.
It’s no good trying to change things when Continue reading
Don’t take offense please. This is just as much a note to myself as much as anything else to take full responsibility for what I do and stop complaining about things that don’t work because I haven’t taken the right action to achieve my goals.
It’s amazing how easy it is to get into a mindset of “you told me this would work” and then go off and not DO enough. NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING comes to us without doing some work. All the hype about the “get rich quick” business has led to many people assuming that it’s easy and all they have to do Continue reading
You’re young and you have a dream, but something puts a stop to that dream or fills you with so much doubt that you leave it alone.
It may be that you’re heading towards middle age and you have been doing something you love to do and yet are disillusioned and you give up what you’re doing even though you are really good at it. You know you should persist at it, but you are tired and have had enough!
The latter is what happened to me. In fact, to a certain extent, BOTH situations are true.
When I was a teenager, my dream was to play music for a living. I wanted to be a pianist Continue reading
