use your imaginationAccording to Seth Godin in his new book The Icarus Deception we are now in the communication age and we are all artists, or we are required to be artists. There is a massive change in economic structure so perhaps he’s right, because the evidence is there. Taking art as the focal point, you will need to use your imagination to create great content and to bring people into your business.

Use Your Imagination To Create Content

Creating content that is of value to your readers (blog), followers (social media) or prospects (email) is key to your success. Providing great content is going to enrich your reputation when you do this the right way. Use your imagination and use product reviews or helpful tips and tricks that you have learned to provide the value to your followers.

Get as much social proof as you can and share your content so you can get the most from what you put out there. Social proof will enhance your reputation even further as well as getting your message out there and helping others to get the success they want. Take them with you on your journey and, if you don’t feel you have the value, speak to your mentor or sponsor to be able to share stuff with them. Use your imagination and find out what you can give to your prospects or team to help them out. There is a great online training system that I use that can help you to work online and also provide the training and extra value.

Know Your Prospect – Use Your Imagination

One of the best ways to get great content is to imagine yourself in your prospects’ shoes. Think of the things that created your fear and how you overcame everything. Put yourself in their position, which may be exactly where you have been in the past and share the tips and tricks that helped you. Put your own spin on these tips and share with your people. Don’t be afraid to do this because you will know a great deal more than 99% of people even after just one week (or maybe less than that)!

Use your imagination and understand what your potential prospect is going to say. A lot of the time they won’t understand the business you’re in and will make up some excuse and say “no” simply because they don’t know what they’re going to get into. Very often your prospects will believe they “can’t do it”, so show them what you do. Point them towards a presentation that will explain everything they need to know to make a decision. You will have shown them that what you did was easy and will understand they can do that too!

As with most business, the stupid simple approach is what will work the best simply because you can prove that what you do is very simple and ANYBODY can do it! Use your imagination to break through the confusion that so many people get because they think it will be complicated. It’s not complicated at all, but it’s the impression that others get because of the way we are all programmed within the education system.

Communication and connection is the way to success. Keep it simple and work the simple things at your disposal. Use your imagination to create simple and constructive content that you can share that will help people and you will be on your way.

To the future
