You must create, publish and promote relevant content that is valuable to your target market.
The content can be created in several ways and more than one is key to generate success and build credibility. What you need to do is to become what is perceived to be an expert in your field and present your content to achieve this.
“This will be hard” I hear you say. The main thing to take into account is that whatever you learn, you already know a lot more than a lot of people and your perceived knowledge will be invaluable to you in whatever niche you choose to become expert in.
So how do you show your new found expertise in your act of creation?
This can be done in many ways. These include:
- Informational blog posts
- Informational videos
- Social media connections
- Email autoresponders
- Mobile Apps
The way to get your message out is to take notes on what you’re learning and share what you learn in whatever genre you feel comfortable with. If you like to write, you can write an article based on what you have found and publish it as a blog post, or you can make a short video and upload to You Tube. You can share your content on social media to try to increase your readership and credibility from there.
The most important thing to remember is to be consistent and have a daily plan to get your message out there. Don’t forget to share your results from your own efforts that have come from the training.
As time goes on and you learn more and more about how to get your content seen and shared more, you should notice your progress in 3 ways:
- Your Skills are growing and your with it your confidence in your ability to write good content
- Your content output is increasing – more blog posts, videos etc.
- Your Reputation is beginning to grow and people are noticing you more and more
As these 3 areas develop, you will see an increase in leads and sales. Your email correspondence will be more enticing and you will be able to write better stories (people like stories that you can link to an offer) and your list will be more “sticky”. You may find that some people will not like what you have to say and will tell you. Don’t let this bother you as this usually means you’re doing something right! Not everyone will have that “connection” with you.
One of the most important things to consider is that the only way to get your content out there is to START. When you start you will have broken your comfort zone and then you’ll be able to improve and grow from that point.
I hope that one day soon I can be commenting on your act of creation in a positive way and also share with others. Good luck!
To the future,
